On the Weekly Edit we share furniture, lighting, accessories, and more that we're loving! We also include an easy way to shop our favorite finds, a little update on all things design, and what spaces and designers that are totally inspiring — and deserving of all the shares and praise!
This week we’re revealing our latest living room remodel! We’re also pulling the veil back on our design process and deliverables to create affordable design packages for our clients!
Phase I: Initial Design Board
Once we sign on with our clients, we provide an easy-to-fill design questionnaire to provide us with the clarity we need to start designing. We also request that our clients submit images to make sure our initial designs align with our clients. With this, we create an initial design board as an overall vision for your space. Once we review the design direction and get your feedback, we move on to phase two!
Phase II: Hard Finish Design
We always start with the hard finish design before moving on to furniture and accessories. Hard finish includes flooring, wall finish, paint, lighting, plumbing, cabinetry, and more! During this phase, we present a design board and design sketch. The design board includes inspiration and specifications while the sketch is a great overall visual that makes it easy for our client to visualize the space.
As an add-on, we also offer renderings for clients who prefer a more realistic visual!
Once we review the initial design with our clients, we go through another round of revisions before moving on to phase three!
Phase III: Soft Finish Design
The last phase includes all the selections for the furniture and accessories. We provide a design board to show all the selections and how they are layered and styled together. The furniture layout is provided to show exactly where the furniture is placed in the final space. Once we review the initial design with our clients, we go through another round of revisions. As always, we offer the option for an additional round of revisions at a flat rate. Lastly, is the final handoff which includes a spreadsheet with all the selections for ordering!
